Commit Mint
With a conversely quiet weekend to supplant my exciting fortnight past, I woke early on Saturday morning (well-rested yet not by choice but rather by neighbourhood noise) to start with my yoga breathing exercises: one set for serenity, one for clearing the throat chakra (and sinuses), and one for energising UP!
23 November 2013
Having entered into my Dreamy Moon Mood stage, I just wanted to check in, before drifting further into my sweet oblivious weekend, whether there was anything needing my attention, while I vegetate Veganly...
I drew three cards: Commitment (36) and Spark (34) and Rescue (16)
Their mantras read: "A true commitment is the responsibility of heart, mind, body and soul. This is a good time to make one"; "You are a clear channel for divine creativity" and "You are always safe and secure and free to be yourself".
Perfect timing, I thought, and no pressure :) Divine opportunity to reflect, converse and listen in mellow calm...
The Rescue card advises that I just need to ask Spirit for help to expand my life, and it (its) will be done. There is nothing to fear as my safety lies within... balmy. RELATIONSHIP <> DIVINE
The Spark card advises that I must just open up to Inspiration and life will show me its beauty as well as my role in co-creating it. SPARK > A FLAME > STOKING THE FIRE
The Commitment Card (which, by the way, I read last, still hesitant with this) advises that there is a promise of fulfilment in a relationship and powerful, harmonious partnerships. Three warnings: be conscious of what you commit to; be clear about the nature of your commitment and your responsibility to it; and to engage the highest self in the (most willing) other, do it in partnership with Spirit to activate the highest version of yourself. INCEPTION > LITERAL / METAPHORICAL MARRIAGE
Good heavens, I thought, best I drift off now - no good to gallop off and away from a meditative state! So I lie back on my day bed to search for signs of Spirit revealed through the big 2nd storey window in my little meditation room upstairs... like a kid, I see cloud faces of wizards and white witches, follow 2 sparrows and a firefly playing with the wind, a palm frond swaying rhythmically... reflecting on my Highest Self:
These words came over silently, to sit on the window sill of my soul and tell me about myself: Open to Possibility - Fed by Spirit - Flow - Energy - Kind and Gentle - Committed - Visionary - Disciplined.
The rest of my weekend flitted by in silent reverie, interrupted only by the occasional bursts of laughter from little Leia and Femme's hilarious little yelps as she flirted with every passer-by dog at the Emmarentia Dam...
