The Enchanted Map - Chapter 16

The day Reality Hit a Home Run

3 December 2013

It's been a while since I tracked down my little Deck of Wondrous Subconsciousness for some face-time, so tonight I playfully lured the beautiful box to my dangerous lap.

I asked a 4-card update question about my quest to secure 1) an ideal home 2) the business of my as yet undreamed dream 3) clarity about the relationship scenario, and 4) an answer to my impatience (there was a definite undertone of "which way next" under my breath :)

The cards I drew were:
On finding the ideal home: Sacred Pool (47)
On starting the right business: Talisman (49)
On heart business: Stuck in the Mud (24 reversed)
On impatience: Ghostlands (17 reversed)

On my home search, the card reads: "Detached self-examination made with rigorous honesty is called for now, as this is a work in progress. Focus on self-love and -esteem and be at peace with yourself. See how far you've come and how magical your life is! Notice the spark of the Divine shining through your eyes: be aware that you are the embodiment of Spirit, then it will be easier to respect yourself, act in good conscience and reap the greatest rewards.Your unique service to the world is not only needed but also CELEBRATED. SEE THE LOVE WITHIN YOU AND KNOW THAT IF YOU CAST IT UPON THE WATERS, IT WILL RETURN TO YOU TENFOLD. Be at peace, for you are beautiful and loved. ACT WITH SURETY AND CONFIDENCE AND SUCCESS SHALL BE YOURS."

On starting my business: "You have all you need for the success you seek. Wisdom allows you to recognise traps on the road and familiar patterns you want to avoid. It also enables you to quickly gather information about where you are on your journey. It helps you know your allies and the best routes along the way. NOW YOU'RE AT A PLACE WHERE YOU KNOW THE RIGHT THINGS TO DO AND BEST CHOICES TO MAKE: YOU REALLY CAN;T COMMIT A MISTAKE. You've learnt your lessons and earned the right to your success. Great fortune awaits you if you use your wisdom to arrive at the right decision."

On relationships: "Until you let go of your OBSTINATE DESIRE to get what you want, when and how you want it, you won't know if the course of action you've chosen is right for you! You choose: struggle in futility, or get out and find other things to do. A better adventure awaits you and YOU'LL KNOW WHEN IT'S TIME TO EMBARK ON IT."

On my impatience: "You're wandering in an emotional or intellectual place with no real substance. There's no point longing for what is already gone or for what hasn't happened yet; live one day at a time. Each day is a new beginning filled with truth and beauty: FIND JOY IN WHAT IS PRESENT IN YOUR LIFE TODAY!"

Well, some really strong reverberations came through for me in this reading - I will touch on them ever so briefly... to grace myself with some vestige of privacy:

  • Just on Sunday, my friend was commenting on my capacity for love and the requirement that I share it freely without fear or holding back...
  • As confirmed before, my business growth is now clearly a case of "get out there and JUST DO IT"!
  • It would seem my (interlinked) home and business objectives require of me the confidence to step out and up into my rightful place :)
  • The repetition of the relationship message is just too much :) Obviously, she says to Self, you really need to get out of the way now because three (Spirit, your stated Destiny - in Spirit's hands, and nosy-posy YOU) is a crowd! Go find something else to do!!!
  • The sage advice is that finding my joy in the moment is a spiritual lesson I am not yet applying to all my yearnings - apparently, I'm missing or not appreciating the here and now to full potential, wallowing in nostalgia and wishful thinking.
OK, Spirit, I'll cover my bases better; I "got" the pep talk, and thanks for all the positive reinforcement! Obviously, the most positive energy is centred around business and home (interlinked and should keep me busy and out of trouble). So I'll FOCUS ON THAT! Promise...
